Wildlife Spotting

The Southern California Coast hosts the Annual Gray Whale Migration bringing hundreds of Grays beginning early December and traveling through until late April. Blue Whales reaching nearly 90’ and Humpback Whales are next on the list for most spotted whales during our warmer seasons from May to November. The warm waters also bring some of the largest pods of dolphins on the planet including the Long-beaked Common Dolphin, Short-beaked Common Dolphin, Bottlenose Dolphin, Risso’s Dolphin, and Pacific White-sided Dolphin.
